What ad spend do I need?

Our management fee is separate from what you pay Google or Meta directly. For campaigns to generate meaningful lead volume, we recommend a minimum monthly ad spend of: $500–$800 for Google Search · $400–$600 for Meta (Facebook & Instagram). Below these thresholds, there simply isn’t enough data for the algorithm to optimise and enough clicks to generate consistent calls. We’ll always be straight with you if your budget isn’t enough to get the result you’re after.

One-time setup fee: $1,000 + GST — covers account builds, pixel installation, conversion tracking, keyword research, and campaign structure. Applied to any new package.

TikTok Ads

NZ's local trade audience on TikTok is too small to justify the spend. Organic TikTok can work for brand building — but paid TikTok for a Hamilton plumber? Not yet.

Performance Max on small budgets

PMax needs 30+ conversions per month to learn. On a budget under $1,500/month, it spreads your money thin across 8 channels and doesn't get enough data on any of them.

Display ads as a standalone

Banner ads on random websites don't generate leads for a local tradie. We don't run standalone Display campaigns. Remarketing inside PMax at scale — yes, but not as a starting point.

Google Guaranteed (LSA)

Google Local Services Ads are not available in New Zealand as of 2026. Any agency telling you otherwise is mistaken. We'll tell you what the actual NZ equivalents are.

    Google Search leads typically start in week 1–2. Meta campaigns enter a learning phase — results can be up and down for the first 4–6 weeks. That's normal. Don't panic. We're watching it daily.

  3. Step 03

    Month 3: both channels optimised

    By month 3, you have real data. Cost per lead is clear, what's working is obvious, and we scale what's performing. This is where the compounding starts.

  4. Step 04

    Ongoing: refine and grow

    Monthly keyword and creative refreshes. Seasonal adjustments. Scale what works, cut what doesn't. The longer the campaigns run, the better the data and the lower your cost per lead.

For Google Ads, yes — your landing page needs to be decent enough that someone who clicks doesn't immediately leave. We audit it as part of setup and tell you what needs fixing. For Meta Ads, we use lead forms inside Facebook and Instagram, so a basic website is fine.
